The Road Scan was created in response to a customer request to be able to quickly scan asphalt roads for buried manholes, water main covers, trolley and rail tracks, in order to protect cold planers, and help contractors to more accurately bid projects. The Road Scan can be mounted to a standard truck hitch, or directly to the boom on a cold planer for last chance protection.
